Cancellation Policy

The Angelo Bissessarsingh Heritage House is a private heritage property, and all visits are conducted by prior arrangement. Our tour policy is designed to protect the character of the house, its collections and the quality of the visitor experience. 1. Advance Booking All tours must be booked in advance. Walk-in visits cannot be guaranteed. 2. Private Property Visitors are asked to respect the house as a private heritage property. Access is limited to areas included in the guided tour, and guests should remain with their guide throughout the visit. 3. Group Size Tours are offered in small groups to preserve the intimate nature of the experience. Larger groups may be accommodated by prior arrangement. 4. Punctuality Guests are kindly asked to arrive at the agreed time. Late arrival may reduce the duration of the tour, particularly where another group is scheduled afterwards. 5. Photography Photography may be permitted in designated areas. Please follow the guide’s instructions, particularly where fragile or privately held objects are concerned. Flash photography may be restricted. 6. Care of the Property Guests must not touch, move or handle artefacts, furnishings or displays unless specifically invited to do so by the guide. Food and drink are not permitted during the tour. 7. Children & Young Visitors Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. Parents and guardians are asked to ensure that young visitors remain supervised throughout the visit. 8. Accessibility As a historic private property, the house may have architectural features that present accessibility challenges. Please enquire at the time of booking if you have specific access requirements, so that we can advise you appropriately. 9. Cancellations & Changes If you need to cancel or change your booking, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellation and refund arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking. 10. Respect for Heritage Above all, we ask visitors to treat the house, its collections and its stories with care and respect. Every visit contributes to the continued appreciation and preservation of Trinidad and Tobago’s heritage.
